Ephesians 2:1 says this, “…And you He made ALIVE, who was dead in trespasses and sins.” This Scripture is a God breathed statement to us about the new life in Jesus. This new life has 3 people living in one body!
We have spirit man that part alive deep within us that causes Holy Spirit to bring Jesus into our midst and sit Him on His Throne in us. All that is God flows out of spirit man! Love, joy, peace, faith, hope all come from deep inside of us via our spirit man.
We also have mind man, he always wants to be in control. He is always bringing you something in your head to hold you back. He is very raw, very vulgar, very dirty, and will down and dirty with you! He refuses to yield to spirit man and does all he can to keep you away too.
Then we have flesh man, his purpose is to keep you attached very strongly to this world with all its appetites and lusts. Out of flesh man flows all forms of immorality, unforgiveness, sarcasm, nagging, fighting, laziness, etc., etc.
These three men make up the life of every person on planet earth today who is alive!
Allow me to share something great with you. When you and I operate out of our spirit man, we are not a normal person! Spirit man can and will sit with Jesus in Heavenly places. Those who live out of the spirit man realm cause God things to happen! It is time for you to stop being dominated, run over, and controlled by people and things that pull you down and hold you back. Example, Christians across America began to pray and speak to the high price of fuel when at the pump filling up, and lo, prices started dropping! I believe people in unity can dominate the things happening around them! And we can dominate strife, anger, bitterness, and flesh and mind man!
