STAY HUNGRY!
I pray this word encourages and strengthens you in your daily journey. Life’s responsibilities have the potential of slowing you down to slow walk on an easy road, if you allow it to. The easier you seek after the things of God, after righteousness, the less strongly you’ll believe in it and the less effective and less fulfilled you will be in your life and destiny. I’ve met people that nothing seems to excite them any longer. That’s a slow walk on an easy road to no where. There are people all around going to hell while they just quietly walk along, living their casual lives. Insincerity keeps many from getting up and pushing through their flesh, and running the race they were called to run. IT IS SO EASY TO GIVE UP! Anyone can do it! Perhaps someone has just come across this web site article and you have given up….. God has called you to do some great things for Him. Why not get up and shake yourself and move out for Jesus today? The town we minister in is a tough place for ministry. Almost everyone “thinks” they are saved, at least in their minds. And many have had their hearts changed by the Blood of Jesus! If I allow it, ministry here would drain me dry as a bone in a valley. THIS IS NOT A SPRINT RACE! I’m in it for the long haul. I am tempted very often to take a slow walk on an easy road, but then I remember that I am not doing this for myself! I’M DOING IT ALL FOR JESUS, THE ONE WHO SAVED ME AND CALLED ME TO SHARE HIS TRUTH OF HIS WORD WITH ANYONE WHO WOULD LISTEN! He born the cross so the entire world might be saved! I will do my part! I will fulfill my destiny. I seen a lot of Spirit filled people and churches who were once passionate for Jesus, but now are slow walking on an easy road! Have lost sight of seeking God, of being hungry and thirsty for His righteousness. In fact, some now are critical of those who are going strong for God, desiring everyone to join them on that slow walk on an easy road. Don’t let yourself fall into that trap!
